Statement of Belief

We believe the Scriptures to be the only inspired, infallible, inerrant immutable authoritative Word of God. We believe that the Bible is given to man for practical instruction of faith and conduct and is only discernible by spiritual men. II Timothy 3:16, 17; I Cor. 2:14

We believe that the Triune God is one in regard to essence. However, in respect to persons, He is three, each having a distinct relationship with the believer. These three Persons are co-equal in authority, co-eternal, and co-existent. John 14:11, 16, 17

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. John 1:11, 14, 18; Col. 2:9; Heb. 4:15

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works. Ro. 8:11; John 16:7-15

We believe that for salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works. Eph. 2:8,9; John 3:1-7; Ro. 6:23

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life; they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation. Lk. 23:43; Rev. 21

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
